  
SURFACE STERILIZATION BY 222 NM
LightSources 222nm Excimer series is our new line of
222 nm Far UV-C excimer lamps for microbial reduction. LightSources 222nm
Excimer is presently used for unoccupied spaces with ongoing studies to
make it the future solution for all occupied and unoccupied microbial
reduction solutions. Features of the LightSources 222nm Excimer lamp allow
customers to obtain 100% light output in less than a second, whereas the
conventional germicidal lamp starts at only 50% output and takes several
minutes to achieve 100% output. Available in 20W and 300W, these
mercury-free and instant-start excimer lamps are ideal for bathrooms,
toilets, counter tops, and other occasional-use applications.

Low Pressure Mercury Lamps
Low pressure mercury lamps
have the widest range of application possibilities with seven main lamp
types – standard and high-output quartz germicidal lamps, quartz compact and
GU lamps, standard and high-output softglass lamps, and softglass compact
lamps. Standard low pressure mercury lamps offer the highest efficiency with
40% of the lamp’s electrical power converted into UVC radiation at 254 nm,
while high-output mercury lamps provide approximately twice the UVC output.
Softglass lamps have a germicidal efficiency of 30% and can operate on lower
current (between 180 and 425mA).
Our low pressure mercury lamps have an exceptionally long operating life of
up to 13,000 hours.
Low Pressure Amalgam Lamps
Amalgam lamps yield
up to three times the UVC output when compared to standard lamps of the same
length. They can operate with consistent UVC output over a broad water or
air temperature range (4 – 40 ° C). Our custom designs allow for even
higher temperature applications.
Compared to standard or HO germicidal lamps, amalgam lamps offer reduced
capital and maintenance costs over the lifetime of the system. The system
designers can decrease the number of lamps required without compromising
functionality. They have an extensive operating life of up to 16,000 hours.
Medium Pressure Ultraviolet Lamps (MPUV)
MPUV technology has
changed tremendously in the last decade, far beyond its initial use for the
curing of inks, adhesives and coatings. They provide a strong source of
ultraviolet radiation for a diverse use of applications; including UVC water
disinfection and air sterilization MPUV lamps irradiate energy at many
wavelengths, including visible light.
We have an extensive line of standard and customized solutions, including
lamps from 100 watts per inch to over 700 watts per inch and a number of
additives to enhance the output at specified wavelengths.

Quartz sleeves
are worth the investment. They provide protection for lamps from water and air
flow, breakage, leakage, temperature fluctuations, and environmental hazards -
without sacrificing efficiency.
We offer both open ended and domed type quartz sleeves. All our quartz sleeves
are made with top-quality materials.
